There is not much to report on today as, after a sumptuous breakfast on board and more photographs of waterfalls and low cloud swirling around the mountains of the fjord, it was time to disembark from the Milford Wanderer and retrace our journey by coach to Queenstown.
However, we did get to see a small group of seals and, on the way back in to the harbour, we were joined by a school of dolphins which was really exciting to see.
Tony had been disappointed not to see Mitre Peak on our trip but he managed to catch a glimpse of it when the mist temporarily shifted before we boarded the coach.
Cameron was quiet on the way back as it was the return journey but he did make a couple of remarks about dropping dodgy folks off at the Police Station in Te Anau! When we reached the town my wallet, complete with contents, was waiting for me and before going to find lunch at the Hollyford Cafe (not sparkling), we called in at the toilets to thank Rosina for handing it in. Sadly she was not working today but we had a good chat with the woman on duty and she promised to pass on our thanks to Rosina.
Despite the weather, we had glimpses of the scenery on our return journey.
Back in Queenstown we found a supermarket and bought some salmon for dinner and since then we've had a lazy evening and tomorrow we plan on a walk.
