Day 8: Swimming and Olives

Today Sue drove us to the local supermarket in Whitford to stock up for the next few days in the van, and we have enjoyed seeing where everything will fit into the ingenious storage.  It reminded me of family holidays in caravans at Primrose Valley when we were young.  After lunch, Sue went to a visit a friend in hospital and we did some jobs before having some downtime in the pool, it is our holiday after all!  Now I'm feeling all warm and rosy.

We had a guided tour of the house grounds which included Susan's own olive grove which she planted after the house was built.  On a good year the grove yields 40L of delicious oil which we sampled with focaccia bread.  We now have a bottle safely stored in the van!
